Registration
Registration by March 1, 2005 (1st entry date) or May 15, 2005 (2nd and final entry date). Registering via the Internet takes place by filling the form available at Sippu-Jukola's home page www.jukola2005.net. The electronic form can also be printed and mailed to the following address: Sippu-Jukola 2005, Päätie 7, 46900 Anjalankoski, FINLAND. The registration form can also be sent by fax to number +358-5-535 4016.
You can find the Internet registration form here.
The registration form can also be ordered directly from the Sippu-Jukola 2005 office, and the forms are also available for downloading here (a running order for the Jukola and the Venla relay is also required). Passwords for registering teams and entering team compositions via the Internet will be sent together with the registration form. The event invitation as well as registration and team composition forms will be sent to all the clubs and associations that participated in the 2004 Jukola in Jämi.
A Finnish Orienteering Federation license is not required. The age limits for juniors must be adhered to and the information regarding the runners in each team must be correct. In both cases, the person responsible for this is the person entering the teams. In the Jukola relay, women are only allowed to run for teams representing non-orienteering clubs (i.e. other associations). Women can also compete in only one of the relays (i.e. either in the Venla or in the Jukola relay). Teams representing non-orienteering clubs can include only one first class orienteerer in the age categories Women/Men 17-39 (according to the Finnish ranking 2/2004).
Each team must have at least three EMIT cards. The same cards cannot be used in the same relay by two teams representing the same club. Also, teams representing the same club are not allowed to use the same EMIT cards both in the Jukola and in the Venla relay. EMIT cards can be rented from the organiser at a cost of EUR 5/card. Teams wishing to rent EMIT cards must order them in advance and clearly mark in the registration form the number of cards needed. Personal EMIT card numbers are not required in advance by the organisers. They will be registered in the results system when the runners enter the start/exchange area at the competition centre.
